Text Matt & Adam!

The worst movies we have paid to see.

Love at First Bite has the worst opening 20 minutes of any movie, mostly because of George Hamilton. This "comedy" took a decent premise and never figured out exactly what it was making fun of. It desperately needed a laugh track, and we desperately needed a drink. Matt couldn't figure out what he liked least - the racism, the misogyny, or the acting. The Gambler is a remake of a James Caan film starring Mark Wahlberg, which is where it went wrong. There is a good movie here somewhere. Maybe Matt Damon could have saved it. At least we had John Goodman for a few minutes. Adam explains the Goodman-Shore theorem.

Next week: Let's go to dinner. The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972) (available on Amazon Prime video) and Melvin Goes to Dinner (2003) (available on Netflix).
