The original theme for our latest podcast was Neo-Noir, but it's been updated to Horse Noir. "Thoroughbreds" (2017) is about two young women who decide that a step-father needs to go. Both M&A found the acting and story on the plus side, but the movie seemed flat and unemotional. Not a lot of laughs. "The Death of Dick Long" (2019) is just as good in the acting and story departments, but sardonically funny. Matt said he liked it more than he should have and Adam liked it more on his second viewing.
Next up, in honor of 4/20, Stoner Movies: Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and P.T. Andersons "Inherent Vice" (2014).
