We are half-way finished with the school year!
This either fills you with excitement or panic. If you're like me, it's a bit of both.
Half of the hard work is behind us, but there is so much ground to cover in the second half of the year. Sometimes, when I think about my 2nd graders being 3rd graders, I can hardly imagine it.
So, I created a goal-setting routine for my students for this semester. These are data-driven, standards-focused goals! The purpose of setting goals was to get my students in on the process of tracking their growth. I'm doing it all of the time, why shouldn't they help me?
