Times I have needed emergency sub plans in my teaching career:
1. I went into labor earlier than expected.
2. I got into a car accident on the way to school.
3. Kids started puking in the middle of the night.
4. *I* started puking in the middle of the night.
5. Sudden/unexpected death in the family
6. Childcare cancelled/daycare closed
After a few emergencies, it starts to get old to fill a crate with 'print and go' activities that you are always having to re-print and re-copy. I started to look for a simpler way to do it.
In today's episode, I share some ways that I created sub plan activities that I could generically write about one time. Then, I never had to write my sub plans, again.
