Description

In 1781, the Zong ship was traveling from Africa to Jamaica transporting enslaved people. When it hit some issues, the crew ended up throwing 133 enslaved people overboard. There was eventually a trial in regards to this massacre, but mainly over insurance money. Tune in to hear the details and a brief, brief history of the transatlantic slave trade.
