When some people think of God, they have a judgmental view. They see someone who points their finger at wrongdoing and sends judgment when someone sins. However, that view of God is not what God intended for us to have. Pastor Jamey exposed the lies of condemnation this week by examining something from the Old Testament: the ark of the covenant.
The ark of the covenant was an example given in Exodus about God’s relationship with us. It showed that God doesn’t view us through the lens of our wrongdoing. He doesn’t keep our sins central. He sees us through the shed blood of Jesus.
