Our determined purpose is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and to attain to the resurrection of the dead. We need to have a resurrection from the power of death in whatever form it takes in our lives. Death is not ceasing to exist, but rather separation and usually gradual in its onset. We can be raised from dead circumstances that encroach upon our lives and attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Firstly, we must know Him, then the power of His resurrection. And lastly, we must know the fellowship of His sufferings.
