Caryn Cast is an artist that creates murals, chalk portraits, and illustrations in New York City. Originally from Florida, she spent time in Nashville before moving to New York. Her work often entails whimsical portraits and animals doing people things. Her murals wind up in unusual places, anywhere from street alleys to restaurant bathrooms to cooking shows. She works in a variety of mediums, including wall murals, sidewalk chalkboards, large scale paintings and illustrations for print. She loves collaborations and commissions, and is always on pursuit of new creative projects.
