Psalm 118:6, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Are you sick and tired of leaning more into the acceptance of the world around you rather than the conviction of the Holy Spirit? Do you want to do things for Christ even if it means taking a risk and not being "liked"? If so... it's time to get rid of Christian FOMO.
Fear of man is talking about throughout the Bible. When we ignore Christ and His principles to seek the approval of (or, in 2021 just not be yelled at by) others.
It's time to leave the fear of others - what they think, how they will treat you, and what they will say about you - behind. When we follow Jesus, people will find reasons to not like us. Even if we walk in love, speaking truth and walking as Jesus walks, people will turn against you. Call it whatever you'd like - jealousy, anger, insecurity, ignorance - people either are drawn to or repelled by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. But, if we fear their opinion, we will NEVER do what Christ has called us, as His body, to do (including heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons...)
