When you hear the word "Christian", what do you think?
Many think it means going to church, reading the Bible (sometimes) and celebrating Easter and Christmas. Others think it means a devoted life to Jesus. Still others think of it as more of a cultural identity... the general "niceties" of Christian-y things.
The frustrating thing is... all of these definitions could be true. Depending on how you interpret the word itself. Why? Because there is no definition for "Christian" in the Bible. Because Christians are not what Christ actually called us to be. He called us to be His followers.
In this two-part episode we'll talk about our culture, the Christian culture, and how the idea of "Christian" is often a shrouded in a lie. We also talk about what the Bible says it means to follow Jesus... which, is by-in-large is often very different than what the world defines as "being Christian".
