Description

Dr Nigel Winser is a United Kingdom-based conservation advocate who has devoted much of his career to the conservation and environmental issues that face Oman, since his first venture here in 1985/86, for the highly acclaimed Wahiba Sands Sea Project. He has worked at the Royal Geographical Society on field science related activities for 29 years, joining as a volunteer studying the forests of Sarawak and going on to become its Deputy Director.
Nigel, along with Dr Dutton, has also arranged and hosted the Oman Natural Heritage Lectures at the Royal Geographical Society in London over the last two years to universal acclaim.
