Sir Alan Duncan was a British Conservative politician and was the MP for Rutland and Melton from 1992 to 2019. During his political career, he has served as Minister of State for International Development and Foreign Minister until a year ago and Prime Minister David Cameron’s Special Envoy to Yemen. He was knighted in 2014 for services to international development and UK-Middle East relations.
