When the vagus nerve is activated it sends the message to every single major organ in the body to move into the rest and digest state. When our organs and body as a whole can move into this state, we can truly begin the healing process.
Rachel also gives you two different options to choose from that will activate the vagus nerve within seconds. One of them can be done anywhere, anytime (aside from driving) and the other is a great practice to add to your morning meditation or whenever you are feeling off.
