In this passage of Scripture we are continuing with the theme; What the Church is supposed to be. Here we are given a description of how Paul gave of himself sacrificially to bring the gospel to the church in Thessalonica.
He was tender with them like a nursing mother, as a caring father.
And that is what the people of the Church are supposed to be; self-sacrificial
