Today there are over 45,000 Christian denominations and sects. In the beginning, it was not so! The First Century Church of Jesus Christ was established on the foundation of the Jewish Apostles, and Old Testament Prophets. It began on the Day of Pentecost, 31 AD, in Jerusalem, Israel. Shocking to most, the concept of Christianity is not found in the Bible. Biblically, the word Christian was only applicable to those who abided in the Apostle’s Doctrines (Acts 11:26). Over the past 2,000 years, Western Christianity created thousands of substitute doctrines and pagan practices, to deceive the uninformed religious masses. The only history book in the New Testament is the Book of Acts. This podcast on church history, compares the doctrines of the First Century Church, with those of Roman Catholicism, the Orthodox Church, Protestant, and Pentecostal Churches. It can help anyone put church doctrines in their proper historical context for biblical truths and salvation.
