Zacharias and Elizabeth were righteous and blameless before God, both old and simply past their day. The days of Zacharias seeking God's face for a son were long gone. He had humbly and boldly, timidly and aggressively gone to God with a thousand conversations. The answer had always been no. Dare he dream again? He dare not ask Elizabeth. But, an angel!
