We preach Christ crucified, and every sermon shakes the gates of hell. We bring sinners to Jesus by the Spirit’s power, and every convert is a stone torn down from the wall of Satan’s mighty castle. Satan intended to make the human race the captives of his power, but they are redeemed from his iron yoke!!!! God has delivered many of them, and the day shall come when he will cleanse the whole earth from the serpent’s slimy trail, so that the entire world shall be full of the praises of God. (Spurgeon)
In this we have great reason to rejoice!! Do not the angels rejoice over one sinner who repents? Is this not our greatest wish for those we love? Is this not the vision of our Lord, to see satan fall like lightening?
