In all fairness, if all that’s being considered is the religious system man has labeled Christianity, complete with politics, scandals, prideful preachers, and cultural add-ons, then yes, the perceived arrogance is understandable. Tolerable, even.
Why? Because all religions are man-made, they are fallible. Religion as a whole often reflects more of us than they do of God, systems of hierarchy that oppress, rules that control, and rituals that elevate some while excluding others. And if that’s all Christianity were, a man-made system like the rest, then it would have no right to claim exclusivity. But here’s the plot twist......
