Perspective changes everything. Sometimes, we have to flip the narrative to maintain sanity, to rebuke bitterness, and to avoid the hardening of our hearts.
Bitterness and a hardened heart can block us from fulfilling God's purpose by keeping us stuck in past pain instead of walking in His plans. Hebrews 12:15 warns, “See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.”
Bitterness doesn’t just affect us—it spreads, poisoning relationships and clouding judgments.
When bitterness is the feature of your story, you move, act, and react with tunnel vision, missing so much of the bigger picture, essentially handicapping yourself from pursuing and obtaining greater, and to add insult to injury, it makes it harder for you to hear God's voice.
