Patience does not mean being idle. Patience is about preparing and positioning yourself to pursue. Patience involves active engagement in processes and tasks, even when results are delayed. (Proverbs 18:9: "Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys." - Proverbs 21:5: "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance." )
