Harriet Tubman once said, “I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.” That’s a powerful yet sobering statement. It suggests that some people were so used to their chains that they had mistaken them for normal life.
Now, before we assume this was just a historical problem, let’s bring it into today.
