Description

Convinced that we're all more creative than we give ourselves credit for, Nigel Collin, decided to jump on his motorbike and travel around Australia talking to every day Aussies doing ingenious things. The Ingenious Oz Project was born which has now spawned hundreds of episodes.

A business speaker, and MC/Facilitator, Nigel is pretty impressive. As a trained actor and teacher of camera skills,  and owner of four businesses, he's a hybrid who's been able to make the transition seamlessly from face to face speaker to virtual. He's spoken to 800,000 people, at over 1000 events in 14 countries.

He's all about getting creative in business but showed me it doesn't have to be in big ways. In fact, he's all about looking for the gaps, the opportunities that allow us to make small changes that make a big difference.

Nigel is a savvy business thinker, but that didn't stop me from introducing him as sweet. (Sorry Nige!) From big businesses to small, you'll enjoy his stories from around Australia and the commercial world as Nigel shows us that innovation belongs to everyone, and it's not about painting.

POST SCRIPT
Just after we recorded this podcast Nigel identified his very own gap and using his existing skills, has started a program teaching people to present to camera, as well as being the best speaker round who can do that.  It's his own perfect pivot. Check it out on his website.
