I was going to write an intro for my next guest but her website says it all.
Maz Farrelly has been to more showbiz parties than Kim Kardashian’s Spanx and down more red carpets than a Dyson vacuum. Her contacts contain bigger names than the toilet queue at the Oscars and if you can stick a name plate on it and hand it over to loud applause, she’s won it from BAFTAs to Logies. If you’ve watched it, Maz probably made it – here in Australia, LA and London - the biggest shows in the world. Her content has been watched more than eight billion times worldwide and includes several seasons with Big Brother, Dancing with the stars, the X Factor, Celebrity Apprentice and too many documentaries to mention.
Maz now brings all her experience in this realm to the corporate world as a must have speaker, a facilitator and a coach and deals in the most precious commodity on earth – attention.
She shared some funny and great moments from her TV career and how we can apply her learning to our own grabs for attention. We also talked about the value of agenda-less friends, how comedy trumps everything and laughing through stress. She shared her insights into how great teams work, how she can teach you to be charismatic and how to get inside the heads of your audience.
