Description

Today, we’re talking “People Aggregators”

What is that? People aggregators, in the sourcing and recruiting sense, are tools that take data from social profiles to help you build a more complete profile on a potential candidate. They help you build a more complete picture of who they are. For example, from their Instagram, you can see what their hobbies are. On last.fm or Spotify, see what their taste in music is.

These social sites not only give you more information to see if a particular candidate is a good fit, but will also help you tailor your message when reaching out. Simply put, you can then connect with them as a human, especially if you have common interests. This is much more effective than putting candidates on blast without investigating a candidate’s location, background, or even skillset. We’ve had this happen to us, and I’m sure everyone else has.
