CD 1530 Becoming Conquerors by Colossians - session 3
What is the vision the Lord has gave us for 2023? Close your eyes and see the vision board - the year of release! This morning we are continuing our studies from the letter written to the church in Collosse.
Colossians Theme = The glory of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ the Head of the Church!
Reiterate from the past 2 weeks:
There is so much power in the Word of God especially when we're able to go verse by verse through an entire Epistle. So, this morning we're going to start Colossians and get some important truths to help us become a conqueror through Christ! This epistle has never been more relevant than at this junction of our lives! You must understand: "Colosse (the recipients of Paul's letter to the Colossians) is located south of Laodicea in the southwestern part of Asia Minor. It was built at the head of a gorge where two streams unite. And in the neighborhood of Laodicea and Hierapolis where Jesus Christ warned about the last church age being lukewarm!"
*Read Colossians 1:15-23 - we will see the preeminence and fullness of Jesus Christ but we will pull from:
