CD 1533 Overcoming Controlling Spirits
#1 MANIPULATE (Philippians 2:3-4 opposite of 2 Timothy 3:6)

Remember the words of Jesus:
*John 14:30 (AMPC) I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]
We can be following Jesus very closely just like the disciples in the Gospel of Luke. But a controlling spirit can influence our soul through our flesh. Will look at how a witchcraft spirit starts as a work of the flesh in a moment (Galatians 5:20). They were being controlled by a spirit of pride (verse 46) a spirit of jealousy (verse 49) and a spirit of supremacy (verse 54)!

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. [50] And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. [51] And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, [52] And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. [53] And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. [54] And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? [55] But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, YE KNOW NOT WHAT MANNER OF SPIRIT YE ARE OF. [56] For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

*2 Corinthians 4:4 KJVS
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
I was studying the Word of God and praying when I had to get up and go to the restroom. As I was walking down the hall going back to my recliner the thought come in my mind from my spirit about freedom or bondage. We are either walking with the Holy Spirit in freedom or walking with the spirits of this world in some kind of bondage. The thought came to me about CONTROLLING SPIRITS. A CONTROLLING SPIRIT is a spirit of witchcraft in origin working through the flesh!
The Holy Spirit started bringing revelation to me that many of his children are being used by CONTROLLING SPIRITS of witchcraft in one way or another. One way is MANIPULATING people to get what we want and the other way is being the person that is being MANIPULATED! Either way we are not walking in the freedom and fellowship that the Lord desires for us! We will have great opportunity to apply HIS WORD which is the TRUTH that makes us free!
*** People who habitually use MANIPULATION, INTIMIDATION, or DOMINATION to control others open themselves to the bondage and influence of controlling spirits of witchcraft. When this happens, they lose all ability to communicate or relate to anyone apart from these controlling spirits. It will be no longer just the flesh at work, but this controlling spirit. I watched these take over my dad and destroy his life and marriage!***
