In today’s show, the Brothers selected three uniquely different movies to review. Each host will lead the review on their film selection and inspire an in depth discussion on the story, writing, direction, technicals, scenes, trivia, and more!
First on deck, Arnaz opens up with the HBO Max streamer "THE TANK". Six people volunteer to enter an isolation tank in Antartica to simulate life on Mars. Over a long period of time, the crew experience hardships and conflict. Finally, on the day they should be released from the isolation tank, all hell breaks loose.
Second on deck, Del picked the Netflix original "THE DIG". Set in 1930, on the precipice of Germany's declaration of war against England, a wealthy land owner hires an amateur archeologist to excavate the burial mounds on her property. Less of a historical account and more of a human story, this film features several storylines told by the perspective of those involved.
Finally, Kenny brings the episode to a close with his selection of Amazon Prime Video's "GUNS AKIMBO". A video game programmer and a self proclaimed "troller of trolls" finds himself forced into a real life game where he must kill or be killed. Radcliffe takes on a role straight out of a graphic novel put on screen by a director who's roots lie in visual effects.
As this is a review show, there will be spoilers, especially for a film from 2017.
