Listen

Description

Today I interview Diondraya Taylor, a graduate of UCLA with a B.S. in psychobiology & minor in entrepreneurship, currently pursuing her PhD in education. She has interviewed, worked with, and learned from over 100 entrepreneurs! She has also been a mentor for young women and teen girls  through service to the Women Founders Foundation, Girl Scouts and many more! As we hear about later, she fell in love with the startup space, recognising entrepreneurship as a great tool to encourage creativity, innovations, goal setting, and confidence and bravery in girls in a time where gender inequality is still a reality.  By using the skills of entrepreneurship and her passion for closing societal gender gaps, she wrote her workbook , Mindset and Milestones to equip girls with the skills and experiences they’ll need to succeed and to think like an entrepreneur. Listen as we talk about gender equality, how entrepreneurship ties into different sectors, and how girls should strive to be brave, not perfectionists.
