Motivation. It's a fickle fickle thing. But what if we're thinking about it all wrong? What if, instead of a feeling, state or trait, motivation is simply a reason WHY?

Today on SelfKind with Erica Webb (that's me!) I'm sharing an equation that is really helpful when you're walking that fine line between not feeling like doing something but knowing that you WANT what lay on the other side. You might be waiting for motivation - or that feeling of wanting to do it - to hit. But is that really what you need?

In this episode you will hear:
- why knowing what you want isn't the same as thinking about what is good/bad, right/wrong
- why knowing what you want is only one half of the equation when it comes to deciding how you will act
- why motivation can feel SO hard to come by
- why curiosity about your current state - i.e. how you feel - is so vital
- the role of flexibility - in thinking and action.
