This episode is a big one - and by that, I don't just mean that it's long. This one is big on importance. Today I'm talking with Wendy Alexander. Originally, when we made a time to chat together, we were going to talk about the role of freestyle African Dance, Yoga and Meditation in Wendy's life.

Instead, we decided to talk about Black Lives Matter and, in particular, Wendy's personal experiences growing up a black woman in Apartheid South Africa. Wendy now lives in Australia and we talk about her experiences here (and that of her daughter).

Wendy was generous enough to offer insight into how I and others like me (i.e. those with white privilege) can be better allies in the Black Lives Matter movement and some practical resources we can source.
