So ... what do you think? Is cleaning the toilet considered self care? Is there a way it ever could be? I think the answer is yes. And in this episode I'll explain why.

Self care that really works - i.e. that actually makes us feel nurtured - requires us to go beyond the actually actions and activities we classify as self care and look at the words we're using and the intention behind what we're doing. I think when we get these 'right' almost anything can become part of our self-care.

By the same logic, all those things that LOOK like self care can be ... NOT. Been there. So many times.
