On episode thirty-six of the Gotta Be Saints Podcast, I spoke with Clare McCallan about a recent study she did on virtue and vices. This is part one of our conversation.
Biography:
Earlier this year, Clare was selected as the Winter Artist in Residence at the Grunewald Guild in Leavenworth, WA. She recently taught a series of online workshops on “Poetry as Protest” for the Guild’s patrons. Similarly, she has spent the last few months trying to make a difference with her art by offering free (virtual) spoken word lessons to college students and selling prints of her work to benefit a pregnancy center for BIPOC mothers. Her most recent projects include the release of a film about her work entitled, “Clare McCallan: Little Victories” and a podcast featuring her entire portfolio entitled, “Letters from the Least”.
