“Singing bonds you more than any other group. It acts as an ice breaker and somehow can connect you faster than other types of activity.” For this episode I share a little bit about my journey into getting into my acapella group in college and what that meant for really the rest of my life. It was also delightful to discover that there was research behind the feelings of closeness and bonding that I felt with the group that is created by singing and making music together. I have a few quotes from some of the studies that I found which basically reveal that singing can really create a great bond with a large amount of people quickly due to the hormones that are released when we are singing So listen as I share my story and research about the impact singing has at being the best ice breaker.
