If I had to guess, right now you are pretty darn good at NOT listening to what you need and pushing through with a "no matter what" mentality.
A lot of this βno matter what" way of being is glorified in our society.
How much can you push and suffer?
You don't eat when you are hungry.
You eat when you are full.
You push through when you are exhausted.
You shove it down when you are frustrated.
But what happens over time, is all of that energy, anger, etc has to come out someway, and it is usually on yourself OR you react in a way you are later ashamed of.
