Talk: The Split in our Spirituality.
This is wonderful teaching, helping us to take time, to pay attention to our inner experience and the deepest desire of our hearts. A little prayer practice that I find very helpful and would like to share with you. If you can listen to this talk with a pen and paper at hand and simply stop the talk and write down any thoughts you have about what is being said. For example, I stopped at the part about nuclear arms, it could be different for you.
Then explore your reaction, was it fearful or cautious or hopeful and freeing for you personally. And finally, from the teaching of Jesus find the words that will take you from that place of inner fear and confusion to a place of inner freedom, courage and commitment.
