Peter ends this part of his talk by saying " The gifts are part of the equipment of the Church to fulfil its task ". I found this very helpful. It helped me to reflect on the call of Vatican 2 to return to the spirit of the founder of our community Jesus. To be empowered by the same Holy Spirit that empowered him, and to be involved in the same task as him.
