How do you use your podcast to grow your business?
It was more in the beginning. I used my podcast to become closer to potential Centers of Influence. In other words, I interviewed people who were in the senior services space. I got to know them, and they got to know me. I was seeing many of them at a networking event on a weekly or monthly basis. Once I helped them get their word out, they asked me about my business and started referring potential clients to me.
What three takeaways you can give to the listeners?
1. You don't have to directly sell anything to make your podcast work for you.
2. Your podcast doesn't have to be directly related to your business to make it work for you.
3. People will listen to these episodes in the future. Make sure you explain that to your potential guests so they understand the value you are bringing them.
