In this episode we talk with cyclist Anders Johnson about:

Our next guest, cyclist Anders Johnson, grew up in the mountains of Northern Utah and currently lives in San Luis Obispo (SLO), California. He fell in love with SLO while attending Cal Poly where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Physics, and a minor in mathematics. Growing up, he played many sports, but mountain biking quickly became his primary passion, leading him to compete internationally as a junior and beyond. In 2022, he discovered track cycling and dove headfirst into the sport, qualifying for his first World Championships just months after he started. Since then, he’s competed on three World Championship teams, earned 8 elite national track titles, and secured 4 Pan American track titles.

Outside of his own racing, he also coaches cyclists of all ages and abilities. When he’s not  thinking about bikes, he works as a Project Manager at Stanford School of Medicine, where he contributes to various projects focused on population health and elite athletes.
