Bar Benjamin sits above The Benjamin on Melrose, delivering a modern day Hollywood cocktail den built for date nights and lingering rounds. The space feels classic, with wood tones, Art Deco style, and mohair banquettes. It’s intimate, it’s elegant, and that’s before you even get to the drinks.
The drinks are where Bar Benjamin flexes: technique-forward originals and clever riffs that pull from culinary flavors as much as cocktail tradition.
The food program is mostly bar snacks that read like serious bar food, not an afterthought. There are also few larger ticket items that you can use to upgrade your experience, but it isn’t necessary, as the drinks are the real stars of this show.
