Forgiveness is a critical part of our overall growth. When we think of forgiveness, we think it is for the other person, but in reality, it is for yourself so that you can still receive all the blessings that are in store for you. There are three tips to forgiveness with self-care:
1. Forgiving those that hurt you
2. Forgiving yourself
3. Releasing the hold unforgiveness has on you through forgiveness
As we learn to forgive by doing the hard inner work necessary will we be able to not only be better for ourselves but for those we are called to serve.
