Experiencing many visions of saints, angels, and the Virgin Mary throughout her life, Elisabeth became a well known Benedictine nun who people sought out for her wisdom and guidance. Although her visions were never confirmed as legitimate, her heroic life of virtue and devotion have been well recorded.
