Today we reflect on Acts 13:22-26. “No, but one is coming after me; I am not worthy to untie the thong of the sandals on his feet.” Saint John the Baptist understood that the Messiah was The Word of God made flesh. We should learn from John to have reverence for Christ, our Savior, and recognize also the incredible love of God to descend to us at every mass in the Eucharist.
