Wow, Emma is the embodyment of everything I love about ultratrail running and this story is the epitome of it. Essentially revived from what looked like death or close to it, to a killer second-to-DFL at Wasatch 100 2022.
I was at Ant Knolls and took the photo of her laying on the ground. Fortunatley, you can't DNF at Ant Knoll. She got up, kept going, pushed harder to be the cutoff and got the buckle.
