The Bible shows us that the Lord has had plans for each of us before we were even born – part of this plan is for us to become functioning members of His body. God puts a little bit of Himself into every believer when we become born again, and in this way, we all contribute our part to His household – ultimately reflecting the fullness of Him. In Christ, though we are many individuals, we are joined together to form one body, with Christ as our Head. This is a profound connection – we not only belong to one another, but the Lord desires us to be one with each other, as He is with the Father.
