Temptation is something we all face, but God’s Word shows us how to overcome it. In Matthew 4:1-11, we see Jesus confronted by the devil with three powerful temptations: the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lust of the eyes. Instead of giving in, Jesus relied on Scripture, humility, and worship to stand firm.
