On this week’s episode of Catholic Review Radio, George Matysek interviews Father Thomas Gills about his many years as a military chaplain with the U.S. Air Force. Father Gills first went on active duty right after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and some of his assignments included serving at several military bases in the United States and overseas, including in war zones. Father Gills also spent five years as a chaplain to cadets at the Air Force Academy. Father Gills currently serves as pastor of St. Peter the Apostle and St. Peter at the Lake in Western Maryland.
