Intuition, the thirteenth floor

I find it funny buildings ignore the thirteenth floor, thinking by not naming it thirteen, there's no thirteenth floor. It is a perception we accept. We all pretend there is no thirteenth floor, even though it is only in the name.

Intuition is similar, referenced through many different names and incidents, but we never ask questions or call out the obvious. 

1st Example: "Give me a read on that person." 

2nd Example: "The company was nearly in bankruptcy, but I knew (or my intuition told me) we would be in a better position in the next year. 

Key Points:

• No matter how much we pretend something doesn't exist, it still exists. 
• We open up a new enlightening conversation by acknowledging and calling out what exists. 
• Know that intuition is always there. It is always available no matter what you name it, no matter what you name it.
• Ask about and knowledge intuition in all aspects of your life and business.

We play funny tricks on ourselves like renaming the thirteenth floor, the fourteenth floor, just as we do with renaming or glossing over intuition in business.
