Mothers Fit For Sanity

A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.
~ Steven Wright

Irene Gabelnick - Is a writer and coach with Mothers Fit for Sanity. Her true passion is health & fitness for herself and mothers everywhere. She's an avid runner and for years she's added hiking, rock climbing (mainly bouldering), mountain biking, doing yoga, Pilates, strength training and she even learned how to surf in Hawaii. She is a pescatarian (a vegetarian who eats fish) and has created numerous healthy, delicious recipes over the years, and is finishing a cookbook.

For four years she was a member of the Disaster Action Team with the American Red Cross, taught First Aid and CPR, mentored a Refugee through the Priscilla Project, and now educate the public about giving blood and being an organ donor through UNYTS.

The Fit For Sanity Program

Her current goal is to help other busy moms to live a healthy & fit life - which she affirms as key to living a life of sanity. It was from this experience she decided to take her lessons and support to her Mothers Fit for Sanity newsletter linked below. You can’t take care of your children or your family if you don’t take care of yourself.

In this CBJ/187 Episode, she gives us some clear advice on productive, balanced next steps over time. See the several lists below on self-coaching, improved mindset and parenting interventions.
