Tricia Cullop has a job that involves a lot of unseen work, but it would be wrong to describe her as “behind the scenes.” As head women’s basketball coach for more than a decade, she is certainly the face of the program at the University of Toledo.
The winningest coach in school history, the Rocket program has also grown to be among the national leaders in attendance annually, which is just the start of her off-court work that is part of being a head coach. In this episode, Coach Cullop explains what else is part of her job, from the academic balance for student-athletes to charity initiatives to team travel to recruiting.
She also helps grow the game and the industry in her role as president of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
In this episode, Coach Cullop will also share some lessons she has learned from other coaches and how she handles making the big decisions that come with being the Head Coach.
