In this week's episode I speak to a wonderful lady called Nicole from California.
After Nicole’s diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 17 she spent several years in denial of her condition. Unfortunately due to her blood sugar levels running so high for such a long period of time, it led to some very serious medical complications. Fast forward to today and Nicole has received life saving treatments including a kidney / pancreas transplant.
Despite everything she has been through and ongoing treatments, Nicole has such a positive and inspirational mindset.
